Brent Salter

Music and traveling have always been part of Brent’s life. Beginning violin at age 9, Brent discovered a love for music early in life. At 15, Brent visited an orphanage in Moldova and played for children who had never seen a real violin. He was amazed at how music makes possible connections between even the most different of people.

Countless adventures have followed with both music and traveling in the many years Brent has played and more than 30 countries he has visited. One favorite memory is playing a private concert of songs from Disney’s “Frozen” for an ecstatic group of girls in London.

Brent received his bachelor’s from Baylor University and master’s from The London School of Economics. After living abroad for two years, Brent returned to San Antonio, where he is active in the weekly music at First Baptist Church San Antonio and many children’s activities in the community. He is always ready to share a story or make a memorable connection between music and everyday life.
