Taylor Next Generation 514ce

The Next Generation 514ce reinvents Taylor’s classic 500-series Grand Auditorium with modern upgrades, pairing a warm Western red cedar top—ideal for fingerstyle—with neo-tropical mahogany back and sides that deliver rich midrange and blooming overtones. Scalloped V-Class bracing adds deeper low-end response and greater resonance while preserving the signature balance and projection of the V-Class design. Taylor’s Claria under-saddle electronics provide natural amplified tone with convenient soundhole-mounted Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls. The mahogany Standard Carve neck features an ebony fretboard and the Action Control system, allowing easy neck-angle adjustments for optimal action and enhanced resonance. The result is a refined, highly responsive acoustic-electric that elevates every detail of a player’s performance.
