David's Take
This guitar is the simplest of our "I AM" collection. This is Bill Wise's Grand Concert Model utilizing an acient piece of olivewood for the back and sides, coupled with a masterclass cedar top. This was our first olivewood guitar, but we suspected, based on the taptone, that this would make a guitar worthy of the "I AM" series -- and it did not disappoint. This guitar is balanced - incredibly so -- not warm, not bright, just extremely even with really pretty overtones and sustain. The beautiful "blades of wheat" inlay on the headstock and fretboard make this guitar, well, simply elegant.
