David's Take

This grand concert guitar is sweet & sensitive. Bill Wise is simply making some of the finest guitars in the world. This one is well appointed with both fretboard and headstock "picture framed" with curly koa purfling matching the curly koa binding, backstrip and truss cover. A black ebony fretboard with dove fret markers makes this a very elegant guitar. The GC size is so comfortable to hold, and the sensitivity of Cedar/Rosewood is incredible, even with bare fingers. Piano-like balance, combined with an extremely low action makes this guitar a pleasure to play. It's easy to understand why Bill's guitars are utilized by so many artists. All of us here at HHA love Charis guitars. I have played one for the last six years.
