Petros
Chaney and I met Master Luthiers Matt and Bruce Petros at the 2008 Healdsburg guitar festival. Our goal in Healdsburg was to meet America's finest builders, play their instruments, and determine which of their instruments would best serve Hearts' Home Acoustics. We wanted to represent the very best. In the two days we were there, I think we played just about every builder's guitars. After the show, we both subjectively chose our top five preferences -- Petros was at the top for both of us.
The first thing that struck us was the beauty of their instruments. Every guitar is crafted utilizing master class woods. Their meticulous and unique build quality is evident inside and outside of their instruments. They construct their guitars using pre-stressed, arched and graduated tops. This helps contribute to a sound that is distinctly Petros' -- and it is beautiful. Bruce and Matt build some of the best guitars in the world, and to top it off, they are really great, gracious people. We are extremely proud to represent Petros guitars.
