Peterson
Neil Peterson primarily builds finely crafted Steel string acoustic guitars, but he has and will build flat-top fiddles, violins, and mandolins. He's happy to build with any high quality tonewoods, but will often feature Native Texas Mesquite and various reclaimed woods in his guitars . Mesquite back and sides with soundboards of recycled Longleaf Yellow Pine is a combination that makes a very full, well balanced sounding guitar. Neil calls it his Lone Star Edition. He also uses other woods native to the Texas Hill Country. Cypress for top and Hill Country Mountain Cedar for the back and sides make a nice combination which Neil calls the Hill Country Edition.
